To pay the bills, &Duck is the typesetter for both the Australian Journal of French Studies and the Monash Romance Studies series.

AJFS is a straight layout job, and since I don't speak or read French, it becomes a pure typographical exercise at times. Luckily the editors are crack proofreaders.

MRS gives me a lot more freedom to design both the text and the cover, as long as the books are a standard size.
The content is invariably interesting, which makes the job that much more satisfying.
